About Me.

I’m Julian (Joolz) Form and I live with my family and dogs in Brompton, in the heart of beautiful North Yorkshire. Outside of my family, I have two passions, music, that’s when I’m ‘Joolz the drummer’, and the environment, especially trees and even more specifically, wood.  I have worked in wood for the past thirty years.  I love the texture, adaptability, practicality and the sustainability of wood.  With a degree in environmental science, sustainability is key to my work, so I only use sustainably sourced products and have planted thousands of trees in my career to play my part in keeping this a green and pleasant land.

My pieces are a range of wood and repurposed materials, sometimes using resin to bring that added vibrancy, to produce practical and decorative pieces, but all with natural beauty and an organic feel.  My inspiration comes from nature and in many of my pieces you will see the shapes and rhythms of nature reflected.

I love the work I do and I hope you do to.  I am more than happy to produce bespoke pieces, so please do get in touch, or browse my gallery for original, beautiful and special pieces which look good, feel good and will make you smile.
